‘A Night in Muttley Carlo’ Event Photos

Our annual Halloween event, Bow Wow Beverly Hills held October 30th, was a howling success! ‘A Night in Muttley Carlo with James Bone’ raised funds to help rescue dogs and cats from shelters and also our free Spaymobile program. Over 400 guests enjoyed a fabulous silent auction, played fun casino games and feasted on plant based cuisine from Crossroads Restaurant. And the Doggy Halloween Costume Contest was again a crowd favorite! Many thanks to sponsors 2 Rodeo Management, Tiffany & Co., Porsche Design, Westime, Serapian and others. So Many Reasons to be Grateful

Thank you to everyone who attended Bow Wow Beverly Hills on October 30th. It was a howling success!! The Amanda Foundation wouldn’t be what we are today without our incredible supporters and volunteers, so thank you all from the bottom of our hearts! We also owe an enormous thank you to Bill Wiley at 2 Rodeo Management, Tiffany & Co., Porsche Design, Westime, Serapian, for their generous support and Crossroads for the delicious buffet!! And lots of love to Luciana Paluzzi, our very own Bond girl from Thunderball! As always, the Doggy Costume Contest was the crowd favorite, with Ginger taking first prize as OctoPittie! And though there could only be one winner, there were almost too many amazing doggy costumes to count! A truly tremendous time was had by all. We are also proud and grateful to announce that the ASPCA has granted The Amanda Foundation $50,000 for use with our Spaymobile program. Because of this funding, thousands of unwanted litters will not be produced only to end up in shelters or on the streets, and families without access to a Veterinarian will be able to make sure their furry companions get medical...

Building Amanda’s Future

Like the animals we work so hard for, our facility could use some TLC. The building we currently call home was constructed in 1924 out of stucco and wood, and has seen better days.  A new building and equipment will sustain our charity and allow us to expand our Spaymobile program. Additional space will let us increase our educational programs and improve the living conditions for the dogs and cats we house, which will increase adoptions. As the only non-profit animal charity in the L.A. area to own and operate a full-service veterinary practice, we can keep our orphans under a doctor’s care from the moment they’re rescued.  Our excellent staff of veterinarians offer ultrasound, dentistry, orthopedic surgery and both an outside reference lab and in-house lab tests. So when you bring your pet to our hospital, not only are you getting care from talented doctors you’re helping fund our rescue and Spaymobile. Please call 310.278.2935 for information about giving to our new facility or donate to help us build our new facility via the link below. To donate to the new building fund, click...
